An artist living and working in Oshkosh, Wisconsin Wos was diagnosed at birth with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a congenital condition that is manifested by weak bones that are very susceptible to fractures. Though this condition limited his physical ability, it heightened his sensitivity to the world around him. Wos began drawing as a very young child and his artistic expression blossomed as he grew older, painting with oils by age 11 and working with glass by age 16. Wos studied at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with the influential painter Li Hu before opening his own studio. Wos has exhibited throughout North America, including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., the Chicago Cultural Center, and the Joseph D. Carrier Gallery in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His works have been collected by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Ripon College, and MacMurray College in Illinois as well as numerous private collections.
